２０１７年１１月１２日の日曜日に伏見稲荷大社に行ってきた。下調べをした限りでは、休日はすごく混むので神社の無料駐車場に止めるのが難しいとのこと。だったら早朝に行くしかない。
November 12th 2017 I went to Fushimi Inari Taisya. As far as I learned beforehand, it is extremely crowded on holiday, so difficult to park at the shrine parking lot which is free. If it's the case, I have no choice but to go early in the morning.
着いたのは朝７時２０分。駐車場はほぼ満杯だったが、この時間ならまだ止められる。境内の人は、７時台にしては多いが混んでいるということはない。ちなみに、駐車場の前の道路は一方通行だ。入り口を見落としてしまいがちなので注意されたい。
I arrived there at 7:20 AM. The parking lot was almost full, but I was still able to park. Considering it's around 7 o'clock, there were a lot of people, not to say it's crowded. Buy the way, the road in front of the parking lot is one-way. You should watch the entrance carefully or you easily miss it.

いよいろ有名な千本鳥居へ向かう。そこそこ人はいる。やはり、外国からの訪問客が多い。言葉をきくと中国語、ロシア語が多く、英語、少数のフランス語という感じ。人通りの途絶えた瞬間を狙って写真を撮ってみた。
Now you go to famous Senbon Torii. There are fairly many people. As expected there are a lot of foreign visitors. I took a photo, while no one was there.
トイレ
このまま歩いていくと「四つ辻」というところに出る。市街地が見渡せる場所で休憩所もある。ここで、右回りか左回りかを選んで頂上を目指すことになる。そこにあった看板。赤丸が四つ辻。
If you go along the path, you will arrive at 'Yotsu-tsuji' or crossroads. You can enjoy the view of the city, and rest at the shop. Here you can select the route to the top, clockwise or counterclockwise.
私は右回りを選んで頂上を目指した。上に行くほど人が少なくなり神聖な雰囲気が味わえる。３０分ほどで頂上についただろうか。結構疲れた。下りは楽であるが階段の踏み幅が広いので降りにくい。
I chose the counterclockwise route. As you go up, you see a fewer people, and feel sacrid atmosphere. After 30 min walk, you will arrive at the top of the mountain. Descending the mountain is easier but a step of the stair is fairly wide, so a little hard to adjust your step.
頂上
鳥居の奉納者名を見ながら降りていく。小さな鳥居がお供えしてある。
途中で見つけた狐の像。ポーズが面白いし口から水が出てるのがいい。
途中の売店。趣があってよい。

降りてきたのは９時ごろであった。この時間では既に人でいっぱいである。人のいない鳥居を撮影することは不可能だろう。
I returned to Honden around 9 o'clock. It was already crowded. If you come here at this time of day, you will not be able to take a photo of Senbon
