2025年大阪万博が開催される予定の「夢洲（ゆめしま）」ってどんなところでしょうか。天気もいいので行ってみましたよ。
Do you know 'Yumeshima' where World Expo 2025 will be held? It is fine today, so I am going there to see what it looks like.
夢洲ってどこにあるの？
大阪キタの方面から行くと、まず「舞洲（まいしま）」があって、そこから夢舞大橋を渡ると目的地の「夢洲」に着きます。さこからさらに「夢咲トンネル」を通ると「咲洲（さきしま）」に着きます。
If you go to 'Yumeshima' from Osaka Kita area, there is 'Maishima' at first and crosssing the Yume-Mai Ohashi Bridge, you will arrive at 'Yumeshima'. If you want to go further to 'Sakishima', go through the Yume-Saki tunnel.

ＩＲ（Integrated Resort)の構想もあって、夢洲が候補地に挙がっています。
There is a plan of integrated resorts including casino in Japan, and Yumeshima is one of the major candidate.

Ｅ４６カブリオレのソフトトップを開けて夢洲に行ってみました。
都心から北港通りを通って此花大橋を渡ります。From a city center I went through Hokko street and crossed the Konohana Ohashi Bridge.

降りたら派手なごみ焼却場が見えます。 You can see a colorful Garbage incineration plant when you go through the bridge.

今日は、舞洲はさっさと通り過ぎて夢洲へ向かいます。夢舞大橋を渡ります。I cross the Yume-Mai Ohashi Bridge.

夢舞大橋を降りたところ。原っぱが広がっています。Landing at Yumeshima out of the bridge, you will see vast vacant lots.

工事用ゲートと看板がありました。造成工事でしょうか。There were a gate of construction site and a sign board. Site preparation works may be commenced.

万博用の新たな埋め立て工事も2019年度に開始します。
道路の向こう側が万博予定地とＩＲ候補地です。Beyond a road, expo sites and IR candidate sites.

少し近づいてみました。奥まったところなので車は全然来ません。 A little closer looks on the sites. Few traffics here.

夢洲の中で土地利用されているところはコンテナターミナルになってます。Container terminals at areas only used in Yumeshima.
せっかくですから咲洲の方へも行ってみようと思います。夢咲トンネルを通ります。無料です。 I am going to Sakishima crossing the Yume-Saki tunnel which is toll free.

左右トンネルの真ん中には鉄道トンネルがありますが現在は使われていません。万博までに大阪メトロ中央線が敷設されることになっています。
Between the road tunnels there is already a railroad tunnel being constructed but not used now. Osaka Metro lines are scheduled to be put in place in that tunnel by the expo.

咲洲に入るとビルが建っています。一番高いのが大阪府庁の咲洲庁舎。右側のカラフルなのがＡＴＣ（アジア太平洋トレードセンター）。
Entering Sakishima, you will see several buildings. The highest one is Sakishima building of Osaka prefectural government. A colorful building at right is ATC (Asia-pacific Trade Center).

また来た道を引き返して帰りました。来てはみたものの、まだ何もないのがわかりました。もう数年すれば見違えるようになっているでしょう。
I found nothing yet there. A few years later you will come to see totally different scenaries.
