燃料フィルターにつながっているバキュームホースを触ってみると表面が劣化してます。触ると手が真っ黒になります。エアは漏れてはいないようですが取り替えることにします。
Surface of the vacuum hose to the fuel filter has been deteriorating. Your hands become black if you touch the hose. I think vacuum is not leaking though.
外したホース ナイフで切らないと外せませんでした。
I had to cut it with knife in order to remove.
用意したホースは内径 3.5 mm、外径 7.5 mm の燃料ホース。純正は3.5 x 1.8 なので、少しだけぶ厚いホースです。
抜いて入れるだけと高を括っていたら、これが中々難しい。ストラットタワーバーが邪魔で手が入らないので、プラスチックのバキュームラインに入れにくいんです。長さがギリギリで引っ張り出すことはできませんでした。また、きつくて簡単には入りませんでした。シリコンスプレー塗ってやっと押し込みました。面倒くさがらずに障害物を外せばよかった。インテークパイプ側は簡単に入りました。
I prepare the fuel hose which has 3.5 mm inner diameter, 7.5 mm outer diameter. As genuine hoses are 3.5 X 1.8, my hose has a thicker wall.
I took the job lightly, like just pulling off and putting in. The strut tower bar was an obstacle. I couldn't get my hands into the gap, so I had difficulties to put the hose into the plastic vacuum line. The vacuum line was the just length, and was not able to be pulled out.
ついでにフューエルフィルターも見てみました。
I inspected the fuel filter too.
大丈夫そうだったのでそのままにしときました。そのうち燃料ホースを替えるときに一緒に作業します。
I kept hoses unchanged.
カバーは8ミリのボルト3本と8ミリのナット2つです。カバーはそこそこ車体の真ん中あたりに付いてるので、体を潜り込ませる必要がありました。
The cover was secured by three 8 mm bolts and two 8 mm nuts.
エアは吸ってなかったので替えても変化なしです。
Nothing changed because there had been no vacuum leak.
